What is the difference between a barrier spray and a misting system?

A barrier spray is a service performed by a technician, typically every 21 to 30 days (included in our Bengal Gold® 365 plan). We apply a residual product to shrubs and foliage that kills mosquitoes when they land to rest. A misting system (like MooGo) is a permanent installation of nozzles and a tank at your home that automatically sprays a fine mist for 30-60 seconds at specific times of day (usually dawn and dusk). Barrier sprays are excellent for general maintenance, while misting systems offer the ultimate in convenience and continuous coverage for high-pressure areas.

Is the treatment safe for my dogs and children?

Yes. We ask that you keep children and pets inside while we perform the treatment and for about 30 minutes afterward to allow the product to dry completely. Once dry, the product bonds to the vegetation and will not rub off on paws or clothing. Our MooGo misting systems utilize organic concentrates that are specifically designed for safe use in residential backyards.

Will the rain wash away the mosquito treatment?
